Greetings Film Fans!
As 2001, the True Millennium, comes slip sliding towards your snowbanked
driveway, FILMHEADS is taking an extended hiatus.
I encourage all of you to remain connected with the consistent sources of
indie and art films in the OKC-Norman area: OCU's Film Institute, OU's
Other Film Club as well as their English Dept & Geography Dept Film
Series, OCAM's ArtHouse Video Series, and periodic films at IAO. And, if
you have the stamina, try to continue to decode the erratic screening
pattern of indie films at local theatres.
My wishes for the New Year - more adventures (especially out of state),
more Aaah Haaa! moments, greater appreciation for the real/nonmaterial
aspects of life, and, the necessary fortitude to survive the next U.S.
President…the Little Rich Boy Who Would Be King…the Emperor Who Has Few
Intellectual Clothes.
